Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Quality Manager (12 month maternity cover) to play a key role in ensuring our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Working closely with all site functions, you will be the driving force behind maintaining and continually improving our Quality Management System (QMS).
In this role, you will not only monitor and report on quality performance but also help foster a culture where food safety and quality are at the heart of everything we do. You will have the opportunity to lead improvement initiatives, support innovation in our processes, and work with colleagues across the business to solve problems and deliver lasting results.

Your profile
Essential Criteria
* Minimum 12 months experience in a Quality Assurance function with a demonstrable understanding of Food Safety & Quality Management Systems (e.g., BRC or ISO 9001), or a minimum of 24 months experience in Thermoforming/Offset Printing or Injection Moulding Operations with a good understanding of Quality Assurance in these functions.
* IT Experience using Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge and practical experience of internal auditing and GMP within a BRC manufacturing or similar environment would be advantageous.
* A self-starter with ability to work on their own initiative.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate people at all levels.
* Logical thinker, with a systematic and consistent approach, with the courage of their convictions to challenge appropriately where necessary.
Our Offer
* 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum
