Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join a well-established secondary school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HR professional with a background in schools or education to contribute to the efficient running of the school's HR operations.
The Role:
As a HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Managing HR records, including staff absences, contracts, and compliance documentation
Processing recruitment paperwork, including DBS checks, references, and right-to-work documents
Supporting the onboarding process for new staff, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are met
Liaising with school leadership to maintain accurate staffing records and policies
Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Using school HR and MIS systems to update and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a school or education setting is essential
Knowledge of HR processes, especially within an education environment
Experience using school management systems (., SIMS, Arbor, or similar)
Strong organisational and administrative skills
A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
