An exciting opportunity has opened up at Swan Family for caring, motivated, and child-focused individuals to join our friendly and supportive team as Family Contact Supervisor at Croydon children's centre.
Youll be part of a dynamic, compassionate team delivering a vital service that helps families build and maintain positive relationships in a safe, nurturing environment.
What Youll Do
In this rewarding and varied role, youll:
Support and supervise family time between children and their birth families, both in our centres and out in the community.
Observe and record sessions in a sensitive and factual way, ensuring that every childs experience is positive and safe.
Liaise with social workers and professionals, sharing observations and raising any concerns when needed.
Transport and accompany children and young people safely to and from contact sessions.
Promote safeguarding at all times, following Swan Familys policies and procedures.
Attend meetings and training, ensuring youre always growing in your role.
Youll be joining a creative, supportive, and child-centred team that takes pride in providing excellent care and being a positive force in each childs life.
What Were Looking For

Empathetic, calm, and non-judgemental in your approach.
A great communicator, able to build trust with children, families, and professionals.
Reliable and organised, with a genuine passion for supporting families and helping children thrive.
Essential Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or a related field.
An up-to-date DBS for working with children and adults (we can help with this if needed).
Desirable:
A full driving licence and access to a car (helpful but not essential).
