Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our Dining & Nutrition Team. The Cook will collaborate with the Production Manager and Director of Dining Services to prepare attractive, nutritious, and safe food for patients, dining room customers, home delivery clients, and catered events. The role involves working closely with Dieticians and Dietetic Assistants to ensure compliance with modified diet guidelines for inpatients.
Qualifications
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* License/Certifications: ServSafe certification preferred.
* Experience: At least one year of specialized culinary training or similar experience; two years of institutional or retail cooking experience.
* Skills: Organizational ability, good communication skills, and the ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
