We cover a vast calendar of events globally, acting as a one‑stop shop for travel. We are a young, fast‑growing company under the Palatinate Group, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to join our small, enthusiastic team!
Who We’re Looking For
* Interest: A genuine interest in sport is essential, with a passion for horse racing being a significant plus.
* Experience: Any sales background is helpful but not necessary—we will train the right candidate!
* Base Knowledge: It would be useful if you could name 3‑4 major racing events as a starting point.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Communication
* Act as a professional representative of Racing Breaks, providing exceptional customer service to all clients at all times.
* Handle client‑generated enquiries efficiently via telephone, email, and the website.
* Maintain strong and effective communication with both clients and venue partners while quoting and confirming bookings.
* Accurately price quote and manage bookings for race meetings around the world.
* Collect customer feedback during and after events to help improve the customer experience.
* Attend racing events to help look after clients and build relationships.
Sales & Business Development
* Fulfill the duties of a Sales Team member with enthusiasm and diligence.
* Work closely with the Product team to ensure sales and margin targets are met.
* Proactively create your own client database, though the majority of leads will be generated for you.
You will be selling packages to all major UK and Ireland racecourses including Cheltenham, Aintree, Punchestown, Newmarket, Leopardstown, Chester, Epsom, The Curragh, Ascot, Goodwood and York. You will also manage international packages to destinations like Meydan in Dubai, Longchamp, Chantilly, Keeneland, Santa Anita, Kentucky, and Melbourne.
