Job Duties
The job holder will be part of a Disputes Admin team within the PIP Organisation, reporting directly to an EO2 line manager. They will work in a computerized environment using systems such as PIP Computer System (PIPCS) and Decision Making and Appeals Case Recorder (DMACR). The responsibilities include:
* Receiving and recording information related to PIP claims
* Supporting appeal preparation
* Processing Tribunal Appeal Service (TAS) appeal decisions
* Responding to TAS appeal decisions appropriately
Main Duties
* Handle administration duties related to PIP disputes, reconsiderations, and appeals efficiently and effectively.
* Obtain and forward necessary evidence for TAS within the specified timescales.
* Refer relevant cases to appropriate work areas to implement Tribunal decisions.
* Identify customers in vulnerable circumstances and act accordingly.
* Manage own workload to deliver results and high-quality customer service.
* Handle incoming correspondence and system-generated tasks on PIPCS.
* Communicate effectively via telephone and in writing within and outside the organization.
* Identify and escalate issues affecting team performance.
* Contribute to operational improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce errors.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, with certificates available for verification.
