Job Title:Site Manager Location:Shrewsbury Thorn Baker's award-winning house builder is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their busy Construction team. What's in it for you: Competitive salary of up to £68,000 per annum(commensurate with experience) Generous Bonus Scheme Company car or car allowance Fuel Allowance Contributory pension and healthcare Life Cover Benefits portal - includes gym discounts, wellbeing support etc Industry-leading training and opportunities to progress within the business Your Responsibilities: Manage a construction site, to ensure the development is completed on time, to specification and safety regulations, while complying with company and construction build and quality standards Ensure all quality and safety inspections are within quality control standards and carried out in accordance with Group guidelines Facilitate communication and coordinate activities with external third-parties, such as warranty provider, local authorities and utility companies to ensure achievement of the build programme Maintaining accurate records for the development including but not limited to, Staff Inductions, Health, Safety and Environment, timesheets, incident reports, quality control checklists Ensure materials are called off in a timely manner and checked and stored in accordance with Group guidelines Direct and supervise activity of the workforce, including all subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to the desired quality standards and within budget Full job description available upon request Required Skills: Experience within timber framehouse building industry. Understanding of working alongside NHBC Previous success within Pride in the Job preferred Understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation Full UK Driving License Current CSCS Card, preferably with SMSTS and First Aid at Work.
