Aspire People are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Hounslow from September 2025.

Teacher of Food Technology - key responsibilities:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a curriculum that promotes healthy eating, food preparation skills, and an understanding of nutrition, sustainability, and global food cultures.
You will be responsible for delivering accessible, practical, and engaging Food Technology lessons to students with a range of needs, including moderate learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and associated social and emotional challenges. Lessons will focus on life skills, healthy eating, food hygiene, and independence, adapted to meet individual EHCP targets and learning styles.
Teacher of Food Technology - requirements:
* An undergraduate degree in Food, Nutrition or a related field.
* A UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Experience in teaching Food Technology and/or SEN is desirable.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and improving teaching practice.
