We need a volunteer who can, gradually, in their own time, find companies that will promote our projects to their staff through Payroll Giving to encourage donations via payroll.

The impact of your role would be enormous, as the money you raise will help save and improve many lives abroad by giving people a new start in difficult circumstances.
What are we looking for?
You should be friendly, creative, innovative, and tenacious, with some knowledge of how business works. Experience with Payroll Giving is advantageous but not essential; if you are outgoing and intelligent, you will learn quickly. Organizational skills and the ability to build a business contact database are important. Useful skills include copywriting, journalism, marketing strategy, social media marketing, CRM development, and business development/sales.
What will you be doing?
Payroll Giving, also known as Workplace Giving or Give As You Earn (GAYE), is a scheme for UK taxpayers to donate money to UK Registered Charities directly from their gross pay, making it a tax-effective way to give. Your role involves contacting HR departments of companies interested in offering their employees the opportunity to donate to our campaigns via their salaries. You will build contacts, set up systems, and report to us regularly. Support will be provided through leaflets, our website, and team meetings.

Our current donors use Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) based in Kings Hill, Kent. Compassion Direct is working on two major projects: building a new community in South Sudan to house up to 600 refugees, and a crowdfunding campaign for the Sudanese refugee project. You will use your initiative to develop contacts and systems, and report directly to us. Regular Teams meetings will be held, and you will be supported with resources and team collaboration.
