Certification Development Consultant

Reporting to: Head of Sales / Senior Certification Development Consultants

Department: ISO Sales – Norwich

Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm)

Location: Norwich / Hybrid

Salary: £26,200 basic + OTE £50,000+

The Opportunity

As a Certification Development Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth. You’ll identify and qualify prospect requirements quickly and accurately, matching our services to their needs and guiding them from initial enquiry through to successful conversion.

This is a consultative B2B sales role where your ability to understand business challenges, present tailored solutions, and confidently close deals will directly impact your earnings and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

You will represent Citation ISO professionally at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate CRM records.

Your responsibilities will include:

Sales & Revenue Generation

* Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets (revenue, conversion rates, product mix, quality, and productivity)
* Converting inbound and outbound sales leads via phone
* Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the Citation Group
* Generating self-sourced leads and working outbound sales campaigns
* Selling additional services to existing clients
* Managing accounts from initial enquiry to close

Pipeline & CRM Management

* Maintaining accurate and timely prospect, opportunity, and account records in Salesforce
* Preparing quotations and contracts via Salesforce
* Conducting ongoing pipeline follow-up activity
* Completing daily allocated prospect and pipeline calls

Customer Experience & Continuous Improvement

* Advising customers on the most suitable products for their business
* Resolving customer issues within contractual terms
* Delivering exemplary customer service throughout the sales process
* Sharing ideas to improve conversion rates and sales effectiveness
* Highlighting process improvements to enhance team efficiency and customer experience

About You

We are looking for a motivated, resilient and commercially focused B2B sales professional who thrives in a target-driven environment.

You will bring:

* Proven, demonstrable B2B sales experience
* A strong track record of delivering against targets
* Excellent pipeline management skills
* Strong understanding of sales performance metrics
* Confident objection handling, negotiation and closing skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management ability
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work autonomously and manage a high-volume workload
* Logical thinking and strong numeracy skills
* Good IT literacy (Salesforce experience advantageous)
