Job Title: Residential Site Manager
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Pay: £250.00 - £290.00 per day (D.O.E.)
About the Role
The project involves delivering a mix of traditional build houses and apartments from groundworks to handover. This is a potential long‑term contract role, reporting to a Contracts Manager/Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all on‑site construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
* Effectively manage sub‑contractors, direct labour, and site resources.
* Enforce and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance (HSE) on site.
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
* Manage quality control, carry out plot inspections, and ensure a high standard of finish is achieved, ready for handover.
* Liaise effectively with the Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and external stakeholders (e.g., NHBCE)
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Site Manager on residential new‑build projects.
* Proven track record of taking residential phases from groundworks to completion/handover.
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work certification.
