We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic manufacturing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build and nurture strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to drive sales growth across diverse markets. With a genuine passion for customer service, you will act as a trusted partner to our clients, delivering solutions that add value and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, focusing on customer retention, revenue expansion, cross selling, and approaching new business from market research
* Receive, handle and drive new enquiries from existing and new customers, from initial contact to receiving purchase orders including technical specifications, costing and providing quotations
* Follow up with customers after dispatch on first order to check satisfaction
* Understand and define customer requirements in terms of product specification, delivery time, ongoing supply, and any issues to ensure a smooth supply chain
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, developing new products to meet their requirements and keep internal CRM up to date
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and customer communication materials
* Track sales metrics, analyse data and reports to monitor progress towards sales goals, identify trends, and recommend improvements
* Involve in costings processes as needed
* Visit customer sites to discuss accounts, potential projects and added value work
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in sales, preferably in a customer-focused role
* Relevant sector or industry experience is an advantage
* Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations
* Ability to understand clients' business processes and how we can solve their challenges
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
* Proficient in using IT software (Microsoft packages, Excel, Word, etc.)
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Analytical, results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
