NEW BUILD HOUSING SITE MANAGER / PROJECT MANAGER required – Rock, Cornwall – FREELANCE CONTRACT
New housing development requires a Site Manager or Project Manager from inception to completion.
28 new units will need oversight from the Site Manager / Project Manager who will be responsible for the entire build cycle including overseeing/management of all staff, subcontractors and stakeholder communication.
Packages include:
•Groundworks – roads, sewers, foundations, hardstanding’s etc
•DPC, Brickwork, roofing, internals, glazing, etc
•First fix, second fix, plumbing, electrics, etc
•Snagging, client handover and completion
•Infrastructure and green areas
Key Responsibilities
•Subcontractor procurement if require
•Planning, programming
•Day to day management and oversight
•Health and Safety management
•Drive the programme and works
•Oversee quality control, site documentation
•Deal confidently and effectively with subcontractors and any trades teams
•Manage inspections, snagging, and final handover
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Project Manager within residential developments
•Strong understanding of fire strategies, building safety, and residential construction
•Track record of success in the residential markets
•Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
•SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential
