Job Title: Site Manager - Ground Mounted Solar Project Location: South Coast, England Contract Type: Freelance / Contract Day Rate: £400/day Start Date: 5th January 2026 Duration: Initial 4 months (with potential extension) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a ground-mounted solar project. This is a key role ensuring the project is executed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Manage all on-site activities for the solar installation project. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor progress against project schedule and report regularly. Maintain quality control and resolve any site issues promptly. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on renewable energy projects, ideally solar PV. Strong knowledge of ground-mounted solar installations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple contractors and maintain site discipline. Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification. First Aid certification (preferred). Full UK driving licence.
