We’re looking for a Workflow Developer to join a major international organisation operating within the audit, tax, and consulting space, on an initial 12-month FTC (high possibility of going permanent after the 12 months.)
This role offers the chance to work within a rapidly expanding technology function that supports a global, middle-market–focused business. As part of the Technology team, you’ll be responsible for enhancing internal systems by building automated workflows, improving business processes, and supporting financial logic across a bespoke enterprise platform. You’ll collaborate closely with software developers and product owners to deliver reliable, efficient configurations that help drive operational performance. Job Title: Workflow Developer – National Technology Team (Hybrid)
Location: Crawley (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
What you’ll bring:
* Experience with programming or scripting in any form (e.g., VBA, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, C#, Java, automated testing scripts, or similar)
* Strong analytical thinking with the ability to understand how different systems and components interact
* Confidence working independently and managing tasks without constant supervision
* A natural ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
* Clear and adaptable communication skills, able to work effectively with technical specialists as well as business stakeholders
* Any previous exposure to workflow automation, debugging, financial systems, or UI configuration is a plus
What you’ll do:
* Build and refine automated workflows that support business operations across the organisation
* Configure user-facing pages, forms, and logic to create smooth and intuitive experiences
* Ensure workflows run efficiently in time-sensitive or highly structured environments
* Investigate and resolve issues or defects within system processes
* Partner with developers, testers, and product owners to deliver solutions aligned with technical standards and stakeholder needs
* Take an active role in improving internal tools, processes, and documentation
