Our client, a market-leading Main Contractor based in Bristol, is actively seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and highly respected contractor delivering high-quality commercial new build and refurbishment projects across the South West.
The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Projects will typically consist of complex commercial new build and refurbishment schemes with values up to £10m.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee site operations from inception through to completion
* Manage subcontractors, site teams, and programme delivery
* Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations
* Maintain quality control throughout all phases of construction
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams
* Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management
Requirements
* Proven track record as a Site Manager within the construction industry
* Experience delivering commercial new build and refurbishment projects up to £10m
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications essential
* Stable career history with reputable contractors preferred
