Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee a internal warehouse fit-out project in Leeds. The project includes full internal works such as changing rooms, toilets, reception areas, and associated finishes, managing all trades on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day site operations for a full internal fit-out project
* Oversee and coordinate 15-20 operatives on site
* Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
* Maintain regular, proactive communication on site progress
* Review and interpret drawings, ensuring works align with design specifications
* Liaise with architects, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery
* Take a hands-on approach to site management (not desk-based)
* Report into the project lead and provide regular updates
* Maintain shared documentation and basic reporting via email and Word
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out projects (ideally similar scope)
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Reliable and able to work autonomously on a remote project
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and site-focused approach

* SMSTS (essential)
* CSCS Card (essential)
* First Aid (essential)
