Temporary HR Administrator Wakefield 37 hours a week. Term Time only £14-£15 an hour Your new company Hays are partnering with a long-standing client to support them in finding a HR Administrator for their team in Wakefield. This is a brilliant opportunity which has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. As this role is within an educational setting, you will require an enhanced DBS check. Working hours are 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-3.30pm Friday Term Time Only 10 days. Your new role Working alongside the HR Manager and HR Officer, you will provide proactive, first point of contact HR queries across the education trust. Your role will be varied and require strong prioritisation and communication skills. Duties will include:Recruitment administration - adverts, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, issuing contracts Compliance - following safer recruitment guidelines to onboard new starters, including DBS checks HR Administration - updating sickness and absence trackers, supporting return to work documentation Payroll - data entry into the payroll system around overtime, leave of absence etc What you'll need to succeed You will have proven experience of working in a fast-paced HR administration role - if this was in an educational setting, that would be beneficial but not essential.Strong communication skills - both written and verbal Able to manage and prioritise your own workload, adapting to changing circumstances Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry What you'll get in return £14-£15 an hour37 hours a week Potential for temp to perm Term time only working 10 days Immediate start (pending DBS and safer recruitment) What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
