HR Manager – EDI (GORDON YATES)
Location: Near Tower Hill – 6 month temporary contract, salary: £49,884.
Job Purpose
* Assist with the management of equity, diversity and inclusion within HR, developing processes, policies, tools and HR Management Information.
* Assist with embedding the College values and competencies.
* Assist the Director of HR with strategic aspects of equity, diversity and inclusion.
* Assist with operational elements of HR.
* Deliver expert advice and guidance, and develop and implement policies, practices and action plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the College in developing an inclusive and diverse culture through best practice.
* Assist with actions from the College’s Business Plan, Equality Action Plan and College surveys and other action plans.
* Assist with the production of Gender Pay Gap and other reports.
* Lead on equity programmes, including the Disability Confidence Employer Scheme.
* Assist with the undertaking of values‑based interviews and other recruitment.
* Produce reports, statistics, KPIs and other management information to support the College’s human resources policies.
* Lead employee relation issues to ensure best practice and employment legislation compliance.
* Monitor and evaluate equity, diversity and inclusion activities, producing accurate, up‑to‑date analysis.
About You
* Knowledge of Equality and Employment Law.
* Subject‑matter expertise in EDI, with a good working knowledge of mental health and wellbeing matters.
* Ability to work alongside key internal and external stakeholders and senior management.
* Ability to support colleagues at all levels around EDI and mental health and wellbeing development and awareness, enabling multi‑function collaboration.
