My client is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Estates to lead a flagship residential development in London. This is a senior, high-impact role with full responsibility for estates and facilities management across a dynamic and growing community.
You will oversee a large‑scale mixed‑use scheme, ensuring high standards in operations, compliance, and customer experience. This includes leading on‑site teams, managing contractors and planned maintenance programmes, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and well‑presented environment.
This is a visible leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced setting and enjoys combining operational delivery with strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities Lead the day‑to‑day estates and facilities management operations, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well‑maintained environment.
Oversee hard and soft services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, waste, and public realm management.
Manage PPM programmes and contractor performance to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
Take ownership of fire safety, health & safety, and regulatory compliance across the estate.
Serve as the main point of contact for residents, leaseholders, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and service.
Develop, mentor, and lead the on‑site team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Your Experience Senior experience in estates, facilities, or operational leadership within residential or mixed‑use developments.
Background in BTR, large‑scale residential, or mixed‑use environments.
Strong experience in managing contractors and service partners to deliver high standards.
Solid understanding of health & safety, fire safety, and compliance frameworks.
Proven leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, engaging clients, residents, and partners effectively.
