The Role
They are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all aspects of human resources across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective HR operations, supporting staff well-being, and fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
* Manage and maintain accurate personnel records, safeguarding compliance with data protection and safer recruitment requirements.
* Coordinate training, professional development, and appraisal systems.
* Support well-being and staff engagement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding and safer recruitment standards.
* Lead on HR strategy, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
* CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
* Proven HR management experience, ideally within the education sector or a similar regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of employment legislation and best HR practice.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
