Job Title: Site Manager - School Refurbishment (Fire Safety Works)
Location: Milton Keynes
Duration: 6-8 Weeks
Start Date: 24th July 2025
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 6-8 week school refurbishment project focused on fire safety compliance works. The project involves the installation of fire doors, fire stopping, and roller shutters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations on site to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Oversee installation of fire doors, fire stopping, and roller shutter systems in accordance with current safety regulations and standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and school representatives.
Maintain detailed records and report progress to the project team.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Requirements:
Experience in managing school or commercial refurbishment projects.
Knowledge of fire safety regulations and installation best practices.
SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and valid CSCS card.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A DBS certificate is beneficial but not essential.
Project Details:
School-based environment - professional conduct and adherence to safeguarding policies are essential.
Project duration: 6 to 8 weeks.
