About the Role
The successful applicant will support the sales team to achieve their targets in line with budget, undertaking day‑to‑day enquiry handling and event coordination, ensuring The Belfry standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve sales targets in line with the M&E budget.
* Maintain SLAs for all stages of enquiry to contract.
* Communicate up‑to‑date pricing strategy to the team.
* Supervise the enquiry handling process to ensure an effective conversion rate.
* Monitor event sales coordinators’ performance and workload capacity.
* Provide regular financial reports to the senior sales team (daily & weekly).
* Contribute to the budgeting process.
* Oversee client contracts and paperwork to keep events compliant and up‑to‑date.
Qualifications
* Worked within a hotel events department for a number of years.
* Experience with Delphi, Opera and Excel.
* Experience within a large conference hotel.
* Drive to deliver exceptional customer service to all clients at all times.
* Proven success in delivering individual conversion targets.
* Responsibility for SLAs for all stages of enquiry to contract.
