About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers with metal work and construction experience to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a background in metal fabrication work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the fabrication, cutting, grinding, and welding of metal components
* Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Supporting skilled tradespeople on-site and in the workshop
* Loading and unloading materials and equipment
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years previous experience in metal work (e.g., welding, grinding, cutting, bolting)
* Physically fit and able to handle manual labour
* Basic knowledge of tools and machinery used in metal fabrication
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
* Valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
* Forklift or other machinery licenses (advantageous)
* CIS Self Employed
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
