Location: PA33 1AH, Scotland • Rate: £425-£475 per day (Ltd) • Contract Length: Immediate Start 5-6 weeks (with potential for extension) • Sector: Infrastructure / Heavy Civil / Energy
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee reinforced concrete repair works on a hydroelectric dam in Scotland. This is a short-term contract with a reputable construction management team, offering competitive day rates and the opportunity to work on a high-impact energy infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors carrying out reinforced concrete repairs.
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
* Manage site logistics, access, and daily operations.
* Monitor quality assurance and compliance with health & safety regulations.
* Liaise with the Construction Manager and other stakeholders to report progress and resolve issues.
* Maintain accurate site records and daily reports.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects, ideally involving concrete structures or dam infrastructure.
* Strong understanding of reinforced concrete repair techniques and relevant standards.
* SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
* Valid CSCS card.
* First Aid at Work certification (preferred).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple subcontractor teams.
