Overview
This is a Monday to Friday role 9am - 3pm or 5pm if full time.
Must have a good breakfast chef /cook knowledge and capable of maintaining the starter section after breakfasts.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef/Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in breakfast and starter preparation, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.And ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained across all service areas.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
* Supervise and manage breakfasts
* Oversee our starter section food, maintaining consistency and presentation excellence
* Follow food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and allergen management.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to uphold health regulations
* Assist in menu planning and development to introduce innovative culinary offerings
Requirements
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Must be capable of cooking and presenting our breakfast menu.
* All starters,sandwiches salads etc during lunch service
* Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Good communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively
* Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential if accompanied by substantial experience
* Passion for culinary arts with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer satisfaction

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
