The Company currently have a vacancy for a Cook in its ERRV/MRV fleet.
Start date 4th August 2025 - Permanent Contract - 4 weeks on / off rotation
Candidates must hold Ships Cook CoC or Ships Cook Part I and II and a valid Food Hygiene certificate
Cook is responsible for the following:
* Management of the ordering, storage and use of all catering stores, within budget confines.
* Check catering stores as supplied, and inform the Master of stores wrongly delivered or missing.
* Monitoring of all freezer and chill areas.
* In full charge of designing menus and preparing all foodstuffs for consumption by the crew.
* Safety aspects of operations within the galley and other catering areas.
* Reporting of all defects, in the galley, Fridges, Freezers and food store areas to the Chief Engineer.
* The Cook must be familiar with all fire fighting appliances / power cut off switches and any other safety device within, or appertaining to, any catering area.
* The Cook will also assist on deck in emergency exercises and situations where Fast Rescue Craft are launched / recovered.
