We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our flexible, multi skilled team to lead on our projects. You will need to work independently and as part of a team with exceptional standards and a genuine enthusiasm for improving the environment. The key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Lead site set up or support setting site up Follow drawings to deliver projects Develop project methodologies (as experience develops) Attend pre-start meetings Supervise, work with and manage direct workforce, agency operatives, sub-contractors and other on-site activities Order plant & materials as required for the site and off hire plant as required Ensure site costs are controlled Sign off each project using the project booklet on completion with the client Visit sites with colleagues to give advice, opinions and approaches to methods for tenders As we provide a nationwide service, you will be required to work away on a regular basis. We will provide you with a working away allowance, evening meal expenses and a good standard of accommodation arranged for you in advance. What we need from you… It is essential that you have: A full UK, valid driving licence A current CSCS card SSSTS/SMSTS A minimum of 5 years previous, relevant experience which would include a background in plants, invasive species, vegetation management, earthworks, hard landscaping and experience of working in the water industry, setting heavy plant to work, a knowledge of overseeing excavation work What we will offer you… This is a full time, permanent position with 28 days annual leave, pro rata (inc.
