About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join our growing team based in Manchester. This is a permanent position overseeing commercial and industrial refurbishment projects across various locations. The role will involve managing works on-site and occasionally working away for short periods, depending on project requirements.
Site Manager Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations on commercial and industrial refurbishment projects
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal teams
Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates
Manage site documentation, RAMS, and reporting requirements
Site Manager Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial and/or industrial refurbishment
Strong understanding of construction processes and site management
Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively
Excellent communication and organisational skills
SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), and First Aid (preferred/required as applicable)
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to work away from home for short periods when required
