Site Manager
Location: Wigan / Preston / Liverpool
Salary: Up to £55k depending on experience
Additional: Car allowance and full benefits package

The role:
Linsco is delighted to be working on this new role alongside our client, a well-established building contractor specialising in large multi-unit residential construction projects. Due to a strong upcoming project book and significant growth plans, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new care home development. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled construction professional to join a growing firm and play a key role in delivering a high-quality project.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
2. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams.
3. Ensure all health & safety regulations and company policies are adhered to.
4. Maintain high-quality standards throughout the build.
5. Communicate effectively with key project stakeholders, including clients, design teams, and local authorities.
6. Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
7. Manage site documentation, including RAMS, site reports, and progress records.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager, particularly on care homes, assisted living developments, student accommodation, or other multi-unit residential projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain efficient workflow.
* Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work.
