Your new companyYou will be working for a Tier 1 contractor operating within the highways and infrastructure sector, delivering major schemes across the region. The organisation has a strong pipeline of work and a proven track record of delivering complex civil engineering projects safely and efficiently.Your new roleAs a Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of highways works on a live project for a Tier 1 contractor.
* Manage daily site operations across highways and civil engineering works
* Coordinate subcontractors, labour and plant to meet programme requirements
* Ensure all works are delivered in line with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, commercial teams and stakeholders
* Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation
* Proactively identify and resolve site issues, escalating where required
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within highways or civil engineering projects
* Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of highways specifications and construction methodologies
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced site environment
