Job Title: Group, Conference and Events Sales Executive
A Group, Conference and Events Sales Executive will maximize revenue opportunities in the areas of conferences and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. The role involves interacting frequently with guests and customers to earn repeat and expanded business. Key responsibilities include:
1. Receiving and converting incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue.
2. Seeking opportunities to increase sales and conversions within the team.
3. Managing an events schedule to maximize yield.
4. Implementing a consistent up-selling approach.
5. Building strong relationships with customers to understand their needs.
6. Arranging and conducting hotel show rounds.
7. Ensuring complete administration and execution of all planned events.
8. Participating in hotel promotional activities.
A successful candidate should maintain good organizational and administrative skills, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, a commitment to high customer service standards, a confident telephone manner, high IT proficiency, and excellent grooming standards.
Preferred experience includes previous work in the Conference and Events function and knowledge of hotel property management systems.
This role is part-time, 24 hours per week, and fixed-term for 12 months, with an hourly rate of £13.00.
