As a Groups, Conference and Events Sales Executive, you will assist the Conference and Events Sales Manager in leading a sales team to maximize revenue through proactive selling and excellent customer service. Your role involves interacting with guests and clients to secure repeat and new business, managing events, and participating in promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales activities and develop future business opportunities
* Assist in managing the sales team to meet objectives
* Handle incoming inquiries and convert them into bookings
* Identify opportunities to increase sales and conversions
* Manage event schedules to maximize revenue
* Build strong customer relationships to understand their needs
* Coordinate hotel show rounds and ensure smooth execution of events
* Participate in promotional activities
Requirements:
* Good organizational and administrative skills
* Positive attitude and effective communication skills
* Commitment to high-quality customer service
* Confident telephone manner
* High level of IT proficiency
Preferred qualifications include supervisory experience, previous experience in conference and events, and knowledge of hotel property management systems.
