Assistant dietitian job description

An Assistant Dietitian is a healthcare professional who works under the supervision of a Registered Dietitian. This role involves assisting in the assessment of patients' nutritional needs, creating individualised meal plans, and providing nutrition education. They may also help in monitoring patient progress and adjusting dietary plans as needed. This role requires strong knowledge of nutritional science, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. A degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field is typically required.
