A job search can be long and sometimes become boring. Massive Open Online Courses also known as MOOCs can help you make the most of a transition period between two jobs by adding value to your resume at the same time. MOOCs are online lessons given for free during a fixed period of time. Open to all, there is not a limit amount of participants.

MOOCs: an asset to find a job!
Whether you want to learn a new job, become more familiar with a subject before following a course or even develop your general knowledge… there is a MOOC for you! There is a broad range of universities offing MOOCs. There is no constraint linked to where you live! All you need is an internet access to benefit from the course.

Develop your personal and professional network
Although you are alone behind your computer screen, MOOCs are based on collaborative exchanges. Participants are invited to work and communicate together: a MOOC is an excellent way to create a network during your job search making you feel less lonely.

Vincent’s testimony
Vincent has just turned forty and has been looking for a job during six months. He was previously working in the real estate sector and is looking to change job. Vincent qualifies himself as a self-made man and someone who “enjoys learning”. He has followed three MOOCs at once and spent 1h30 per day learning from these online courses: web-councilor, learn how to code and an impressionism course that answers personal motivations.
Vincent thoroughly enjoyed this new way of learning: videos, interactivity with other members of the community… He is still working on his professional project and feels much more prepared to join the job market.
