Golf manager job description

As a Golf Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing all golfing operations. This includes the maintenance of the golf course, supervision of staff, managing tee times, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all members and guests. You'll also have the responsibility of coordinating tournaments and special events, managing the pro shop operations, and implementing marketing strategies to promote the golf course. It's essential for a Golf Manager to have an understanding of the game of golf, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. An educational background in Sports Management or related field is often preferred.
