Hospital driver job description

As a Hospital Driver, your role is essential in providing a vital service to the healthcare industry. You are responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, medical equipment, and healthcare professionals. Your duties may also include assisting patients in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their comfort throughout the journey, and maintaining the vehicle in a clean and safe condition. A successful Hospital Driver must have excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in a patient-centred manner. Good communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are also important. Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is desirable, but not essential. This role is suited for individuals who can work independently while also being part of a wider healthcare team.
