When it happens, nothing helps. You were fired. What's next? You can't stop thinking of what you are going to do next with your bills and lack of money. The chatter in your head doesn't allow you to do anything else, but thinking of your future. You feel depressed and lonely? No advice helps, you think. But, if you are lonely, it doesn't mean you are alone. Just take a look at this quote:

"No advice helps. You can't meditate. You can't exercise. You can't eat. You can't shave. Or bathe. You can't even take deep breaths. They feel like bullshit breaths. Shit breathes in and shit breathes out. You can't pray or read spiritual texts. None of that stuff helps, you think. None of that immediately deposits money in the bank. None of that brings back your self-esteem which was so randomly stolen from you by faceless bureaucats living on the outskirts of cubicles."

Sounds familiar? This is an extract from the James Altucher's post "10 things you need to do if you were FIRED yesterday". Since James has a huge experince in loosing and finding or even creating jobs, we suggest you to read his post. This article will definitely help you to look at your situation from a different perspective!
