When you're a graphic designer looking for work, the competition is difficult. Niek Goorent, a Dutch graphic designer has had just that problem for over 200 days. It's not just me saying that either, it's what the counter on Niek's website says.


On his site is called "Help nick out of unemployment" the  designer has put his CV online, naturally, but not only that, he's uploaded photos of himself full of inactivity.


In sandals and unshaven, he looks completely aimless, seen hanging out or lying on the couch. These images are taken humourously, as Niek suggests on his website: "As a citizen of the Netherlands, you already help Niek by paying unemployment benefits, then why not hire him and benefit from his skills [for the same price.? ]"

Today, thanks to his (very offbeat) site, Niek found a job in his field.
